In 1968, Social Service League of La Jolla acquired Darlington House. The historic home and gardens soon became La Jolla’s premier event venue, with 100% of profits generated from rentals directly supporting the organization’s mission of providing affordable housing and free meals to seniors at League House. SSL members also host fundraisers at Darlington House throughout the year to enhance this support.
